Kids Song and Nursery Rhyme: The Way the Rain Behaves
From Bllossoms by the Way
Alfred G. Wathall
Allegro = 160

Lyrics
Beating the clover Under and over;
Tossing it thither, Flinging it hither;
This is the way the rain behaves!

Pelting the garden, Begging no pardon,
Though all the roses Fall on their noses;
This is the way the rain behaves!

Drub-bing and rubbing, All the leaves scrubbing,
Then the trees shaking Leaving them quacking;
This is the way the rain behaves!

Splashing and dashing, Merry drops clashing,
Each other hustling; Oh, what a buster;
This is the way the rain behaves!

Small Stars
Lullaby from the Swedish
by Alice E. Sollitt and Elsa Uppling

Lyrics
Twinkling stars are shining clear,
Tender, soft and true.
Gently sleep, my baby dear,
Close thine eyes of blue.
Gently sleep my baby dear,
CLose thine eyes of blue.

Mother's stars are baby's eyes,
Like the heaven's hue.
Now each eyelid drooping lies
Soft across the blue.
Now each eyelid drooping lies
Soft across the blue.

Kids Song and Nursery Rhyme: Our Father's Home (Karaoke and Lyrics with Music Notation)

Our Father's Home
Lyrics by Alice C. D. Riley
Composed by Catharina van Rennes
From the Dutch

One tender Father leads us,
Loves His children all;
Bends down His ear and heeds us,
Hears our every call.

Though I sail the sea,
Though afar I roam,
Lonely of heart I never shall be,
'Tis my Father's home.

One tender Father loves us,
Makes us brothers here,
While bend His skies above us,
Love may vanish fear.

Hail! my brothers, clasp my hand,
Wheresoever we roam,
Strange tho' the tounge or far the land,
'Tis our Father's home.

Lyrics
How many miles to Babyland?
Anyone can tell;
Up one flight, to the right;
Then please ring the bell.

What do they do in Babyland?
Dream and wake and play;
Laugh and crow, fonder grow
Jolly times have they.

What do they say in Babyland?
Why, the oddest things!
Might as well try to tell
What a birdie sings.

Who is the queen in Babyland?
Mother, kind and sweet;
And her love born above
Guides the little feet.

Kids Song and Nursery Rhyme: The Dream Peddler Sheet Music and Karaoke

The Dream Peddler
Lyrics by Luci M. Blinn
Composed by Marshall Bartholomew

Up the streets of Slumber-town
Comes the crier with his bell,
Calling softly up and down,
Dreams to sell! Dreams to sell!
Will the children choose to buy?
Such a world of them have I!

Here are dreams of merry spring
Fashioned where blossoms wake;
Where the field and meadows ring
With the songs breezes make.
Ah, no peddler far or nigh
Sells such merry dreams as I!

Here are dreams of summer sleep;
Fancies light as thistle spray,
Woven where the fairies keep
Summertime Holiday.
Fairy dreams, oh buy and try!
Who has daintier dreams than I?

On the streets of Slumber-town
Ever sounds a silver bell,
As the crier wanders down,
Soft his call, Dreams to sell!
Sleepy children, come and buy!
Who has sweeter dreams than I?

Tempo: Andante con moto

Lyrics
Mr Humble Bumble Bee,

Mr Humble Bumble Bumble
Bumble Bumble Bee?

Mr Humble Bumble Bee,
You shall not refuse;
You may come and ask of me
Anything you choose.
Coming up from Cloverdale,
With your little honey pail,
Sweetest dainties you shall see,

Would that I could guess
What reply you'll send to me,
Whether no or yes.

Kids Song and Nursery Rhyme: O Wind that Blows - Piano Music Score with lyrics

O Wind that Blows
Alice C. D. Riley
Catharina van Rennes

O wind that blows, blows across the snows,
And sends the crystals drifting!
You whirl and you twirl,
you swish and you swirl,
The snow thro' the crannies sifting
Then blow, then blow!
Then blow, for the chimney drifting!

O wind that cries 'neath the wintry skied,
O woeful wind a weeping!
You sob and you sigh,
you moan and you cry,
All night while the world is sleep.
Then blow, then blow!
O wind in the chimney weeping!

Kids Song and Nursery Rhyme: The Water Baby's Lullaby (Piano Sheet Music with Lyrics)

The Water Baby's Lullaby
Kids Song and Nursery Rhyme
Alice C. D. Riley and Jessie A. Gaynor
Tempo: Moderato

When the Sandman comes
With sweet dreams in his sack,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!
What treasures he takes
One by one from his pack,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!

There are dreams of the forest
And dreams of the sea,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!
Where sea urchins wait
To go swimming with thee,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!

Dreams of deep-sea caves
Where the waves softly splash,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!
Where silver and gold fish
Pass by like a flash,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!

There are grottoes of pearl
All a-glimmer and glow,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!
And mermaids to sing thee
A lullaby low,
A lullaby-lu for a dream, O!

Redbreast in the Cherry Tree
by Wilhelmina Seegmiller and W. Otto Miessner

Redbreast, in the cherry tree,
Robin red, it seems to me
That you love the cherries so
You eat all a tree can grow.

You love cherries, so do I;
Please leave some, please leave some
Please leave some for cherry pie!
